Former Liverpool manager Sam Allardyce has suggested that Trent Alexander-Arnold could consider a return to Liverpool if he struggles to secure regular playing time at Real Madrid.
The England international left Liverpool for Real Madrid and has since faced increased competition for the right-back position, particularly following the arrival of Denzel Dumfries.
Allardyce believes a return to Anfield could become an option if Trent’s situation at Madrid does not improve.
However, Liverpool reporter Ian Doyle has played down the possibility of an immediate return, noting that Liverpool have already moved forward since Trent’s departure.
There is currently no confirmed Liverpool bid or agreement for Alexander-Arnold to return. The story remains speculation based on comments surrounding his situation at Real Madrid.
👀 Liverpool fans will certainly be watching closely if Trent’s playing-time situation in Madrid develops further.
