Liverpool striker Alexander Isak has been forced to withdraw from the Sweden national team after suffering a minor injury.
Isak has returned to Liverpool from international duty and will now be assessed by the club’s medical team to determine the extent of the injury and how long he may be unavailable.

The forward had recently featured for Sweden in their 2-1 victory over Romania, making his withdrawal an unwanted development for both the national team and Liverpool.
Liverpool fans will now be waiting for further updates on Isak’s condition, particularly with important club fixtures ahead.
More information is expected once Liverpool’s medical assessment has been completed.
